This hospital is an active facility providing anesthesia and surgical services across a broad range of specialties within an organized surgical program. The facility maintains established perioperative workflows designed to support quality patient care delivery. Coverage by a Locum tenens anesthesiologist is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

The area offers a range of cultural and recreational attractions suited to diverse interests. Destinations include the Delaware Art Museum, the Grand Opera House, Rockwood Park and Museum, and the Hagley Museum and Library. Outdoor destinations such as Cape Henlopen State Park and Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge provide opportunities for nature-based activities, and the area also features dining options, craft breweries, and a riverwalk.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services during day shifts within a perioperative setting, with call required at a minimum of 1 week per month. Call obligations include 2-3 weeknights of CV call from 7 PM to 7 AM and 1 weekend of CV call on 24-hour shifts with a 30-minute callback requirement. The surgical case mix includes cardiac, thoracic, general surgery, orthopedic, OB, GYN, ENT, urology, endoscopy, neuro, vascular, plastics, pediatrics, and podiatry procedures; CRNAs participate in every CV case as part of the staffing model. Board certification in Anesthesiology and TEE certification are required for all clinicians considered for this role.
