Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our outpatient office, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed for optimum patient comfort and care. Our work environment fosters collaboration and innovation, where you will work alongside a supportive team of dermatology professionals. Most operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one late shift until 7:00 PM on a rotational basis and occasional Saturday hours based on patient demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive medical histories and skin examinations.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for a variety of dermatological conditions, both medical and cosmetic.
• Perform advanced cosmetic procedures, including Botox injections and dermal fillers with precision and care.
• Contribute to skin cancer screenings and provide comprehensive post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery and follow-up.
• Educate patients on skincare, treatment options, and preventive measures to enhance their overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with an emphasis on dermatology or a family nurse practitioner program with dermatology coursework.
• A valid Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) credential, awarded by the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB).
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with prior experience in dermatology—either as a Nurse Practitioner or in a related field—are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in performing cosmetic procedures, such as Botox and fillers, is considered a valuable asset.

Compensation and Benefits
