Customer Care Representative

About the Role:

Our business unit is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Care Representative to support our utility bill management operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering a high level of service. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate account management and a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, utility providers, vendors, and third-party suppliers through both written and verbal communication.

• Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns efficiently, ensuring timely follow-up and complete resolution.

• Manage day-to-day activities related to utility billing, including account setup, maintenance, and closure.

• Provide support on billing inquiries, disconnection notices, and utility/vendor contract matters.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within CRM and billing systems.

• Monitor account activity and identify discrepancies or issues requiring attention.

• Analyze recurring customer concerns and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery.

• Assist with special projects and contribute to ongoing operational and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience (minimum of 4 years in a customer-facing role).

• Experience in energy or utilities is preferred but not required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
