Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient histories and perform thorough physical examinations tailored to women’s health needs.
• Formulate, document, and communicate individualized care plans to ensure comprehensive screening and patient management.
• Certain daily patient rounds to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Prescribe medications, laboratory tests, and diagnostic evaluations within the scope of practice.
• Analyze and interpret laboratory results to provide accurate diagnoses and optimize patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with attending physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to maintain the highest quality of care standards.
• Complete discharge summaries and provide clear post-discharge care instructions for patients.
• Participate in ongoing education and training sessions to remain informed about the latest best practices in women's health.
• Perform additional tasks as may be necessary to support clinic operations and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The nurse practitioner will focus primarily on women across all life stages, addressing a wide range of healthcare needs from routine gynecological exams to specialized maternal health services. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a Nurse Practitioner program with a focus on women's health is required.
• National Board Certification in women's health or primary care is essential.
• A valid Nurse Practitioner license in New Jersey and active Registered Professional Nurse license are mandatory.
• Evidence of a collaborative practice agreement as required by New Jersey state regulations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Preferred Experience

Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, especially those tailored for women's health, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
