Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position involves ensuring the well-being of adult and geriatric patients through comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions.

Shift Details

• Type: Night Shift
• Schedule: Options for 3x12 or 4x12 block scheduling based on traveler preference

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including intravenous infusions.
• Conduct patient assessments and document care effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current AL or Compact Nursing License required at the time of application.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting.
• New graduates and first-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
• Certifications required: ACLS and BLS.
• Proficiency in managing IV drips, including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone.
• Experience in a patient-to-nurse ratio of up to 1:6-7.
