Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and comfort of all patients.

Position Details

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.)
Scheduling: 48 hours per week scheduling requests can be accommodated

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
Monitor patient conditions and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans.

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required before start date.
Experience with Cerner or other electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting is required.
Permanent address must be located 50+ miles from the facility.

Additional Information

Candidates must be flexible and willing to float to other units as needed.
Parking arrangements will be provided upon onboarding.
