Mid-Level Security Engineer

As a Mid-Level Security Engineer, the full-time position will design, implement, and refine security measures to protect infrastructure and enhance customer confidence, collaborating with developers and IT in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts using tools like Splunk and CrowdStrike Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, partnering with engineering teams to remediate findings Implement and maintain security controls across cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Required qualifications 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or security engineering Strong knowledge of network security, identity and access management, and endpoint protection Experience with SIEM platforms and vulnerability scanning tools Hands-on experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001
