Position Summary  

The? Aircraft Fueler ?at the Dallas Airport safely and efficiently fuels commercial?aircraft?while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. This role?operates?fueling equipment, performs inspections, records fuel data, and coordinates with team members to help ensure on-time airport operations. It is a physically active, outdoor position that emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork.? 

Essential Responsibilities  

• Perform?aircraft?fueling and servicing?in accordance with?established safety procedures using fueling and ground service equipment? 
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and other airport personnel to coordinate safe and efficient operations? 
• Accurately record fueling and fuel dispensing data using company-provided handheld devices? 
• Document flight-related information, including destination and flight number, as?required  
• Conduct routine safety inspections of equipment, including fueling carts and related tools? 
• Operate and handle fueling hoses, carts, and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner? 
• Perform other duties as assigned to?meet?operational needs?

Minimum Qualifications  

• Must be at least 18 years of age? 
• Possess and?maintain?a valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record?in accordance with?company standards? 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States? 
• Ability to?maintain?reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location? 
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed   
• Ability to?maintain?regular and reliable attendance? 
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and applicable background checks, including federal fingerprinting,?in accordance with?regulatory requirements? 
• Ability to access all areas of the airport necessary to perform job duties, including secured areas, in compliance with airport and federal regulations? 
• Ability to obtain and?maintain?any required government security clearance; employment is contingent upon successful completion of all applicable background checks and clearance requirements as?determined?by the contracting agency?

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to address routine operational challenges?

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance guidelines, and procedural manuals? 
• Ability to effectively communicate in English as?required?to perform job duties and support safe operations in the airport environment, including during emergencies or situations requiring a shared language for safety? 
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions? 
• Basic proficiency with computer systems, including data entry and common workplace applications 

Physical and Environmental Requirements  

This position requires sustained physical effort and consistent exposure to outdoor and potentially?hazardous?work environments. Mobility and Access  

• Ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders with 50+ steps and work at heights of 50 feet or more,?including high, precarious places? 
• Ability to get in and out of vehicles of varying sizes and heights? 
• Ability?to drive and?operate?vehicles and equipment of?various sizes, including automated?lifts up?to?26 feet? 

Lifting and Carrying  

• Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds overhead 
• Occasionally lift up to 70 pounds to waist level 
• Ability to shovel materials such as snow, sand, dirt, gravel, or rocks as needed 

Standing and Movement  

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, climb, and balance for extended periods of time 
• Perform repetitive physical movements, including bending at the waist and knees, and sustaining awkward or physically demanding positions 
• Capable of climbing and standing on step ladders while performing overhead work, such as connecting fueling hoses 

Manual Dexterity  

• Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, grip, and operate tools, equipment, and controls 

Sensory Requirements  

• Hear and respond to verbal instructions, environmental sounds, and audible alarms 
• Maintain the following vision capabilities 
• Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) 
• Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more) 
• Color vision (identify and distinguish between colors) 
• Peripheral vision (see up/down and side-to-side while focused on a central point) 
• Depth perception (assess distance and spatial relationships) 
• Ability to adjust focus (sharpen vision at various distances) 

Environmental and Working Conditions

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind 
• Tolerate frequent exposure to 
• Moderate to high noise levels (with use of appropriate hearing protection)  
• Fumes, airborne particles, and hazardous substances, materials, or waste
