Staff Scientist, Biopharmaceuticals (GMP)

Staff Scientist position in biopharmaceuticals at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Middleton, Wisconsin facility. Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight for analytical development, validation, transfer, and method establishment programs
- Serve as senior technical authority and subject matter expert for assigned analytical platforms or technologies
- Guide scientific decision-making on experimental design, execution strategy, and data interpretation
- Review and approve technical documents including methods, protocols, and quality records
- Design, execute, and oversee complex laboratory experiments and development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years relevant experience, or PhD with 4+ years, or MS with 7+ years
- Expert knowledge of analytical testing techniques and laboratory instrumentation in regulated environments
- Demonstrated ability to independently design and execute complex testing and investigations
- Subject matter expertise in one or more analytical technologies or scientific disciplines
- Advanced technical decision-making and regulatory compliance knowledge
- Mentoring and leadership capabilities for scientific staff development
