This position will reportto the Lead Dental Assistant.Pay range: $19.75-$27/hr Job Responsibilities Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents and educate them ongood oral health Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards Provide clear, effective, and encouraging oral hygiene instructions Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaningrestrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc. Participate in other duties that support the mission of providinghigh-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services tounderserved children Job Qualifications Radiology education and training that meets state requirements Active EDDA/EFDA certification or registration Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and theability to actively listen to patients and parents Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timelymanner Knowledge of e-Clinical Works a plus Previous experience working in a dental office preferred Current BLS CPR certification In addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other dutiesthat support the business and our mission.
