U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Security Clearance Type: DoD Clearance: Secret Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required after day 1 What You Will Do Lead on-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases). Perform Platform Systems Engineering (PSE) activities for the CH-53K Israel program. Be responsible for the overall testing for the CH-53K Israel customer of different Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) updates. Formulating requirements/test procedures, preparing and coordinating test events. You will be preparing test schedules, test statuses and the test environment. Tools used are TLDB, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN and others. Maintain, support, and investigate Collins Aerospace lab hardware and environment; including integration and investigation of the interfaces for Collins Aerospace equipment and government furnished equipment in the lab. Design system solutions, ensuring the integration of Collins Aerospace products into complex upgrade programs. Navigate through bids and pursuits, adhering to Collins Processes. Travel approximately 10% as needed. What You Will Learn Deepen understanding of aircraft systems engineering, with insights into advanced integration and development processes. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience. Experience in a Test Lead role. Qualifications We Prefer Ability to obtain a US Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance. Collins Aerospace’s Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) experience and avionics test lead experience. Experience in avionics systems testing and troubleshooting on military or civil aircraft. Working knowledge of data buses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429). Experience with TLDB, DOORS, PREP, JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite is desired. Strong organizational skills and documentation practices. Ability to communicate with technical personnel, management, and customers, including military and contractors. Ability to research test requirements and prepare test plans and procedures.
