About the Role We are looking for a Home Merchandising Manager to help build the Tabacaru home business with structure, taste, and strong commercial instinct. This person will help shape the home assortment, support planning and pricing, and work closely with creative and production to make sure the collection feels both desirable and well considered. You should understand how to build a collection that is cohesive, emotionally resonant, and commercially sound without losing the soul of the brand. This is a role for someone who loves product, has a strong eye, and enjoys the balance of organization and instinct. What You’ll Do Support the development of the home assortment across categories such as table linens, entertaining, decorative, and lifestyle pieces Help define product architecture, category mix, pricing strategy, and seasonal assortment flow Partner with creative and leadership to ensure the collection feels cohesive and aligned with the Tabacaru aesthetic Track development calendars, product details, launch timing, and assortment readiness Help analyze product performance, customer feedback, and merchandising opportunities Maintain line sheets, product trackers, sample organization, and internal assortment tools Support planning around launches, storytelling, and collection presentation Requirements 3+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, planning, product management, or assortment strategy Strong product instinct and understanding of brand cohesion High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Comfort managing multiple timelines and workstreams Ability to think both creatively and analytically Strong spreadsheet and product tracking skills Based in Los Angeles or able to work closely with the team there Nice to Have Experience in home, tabletop, accessories, or luxury product categories Background in both emerging brands and more established retail environments Familiarity with pricing strategy, assortment planning, and launch management Strong understanding of materials, color, silhouette, and how collections come together visually Experience working closely with production and creative teams You May Be a Great Fit If You love the art of curation.
