Role Overview

Orthogone Technologies is seeking a Director, FinTech IP Sales to take ownership of an established global FinTech IP business and accelerate its growth.

The company has an existing IP portfolio, customer base and proven sales motion . This role will expand that foundation by developing new strategic accounts, growing the installed base and increasing revenue through IP licensing and attached engineering services .

The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise technology sales experience with deep knowledge of financial-market technology , particularly electronic trading, market connectivity and low-latency infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the global target-account strategy across FinTech and trading-infrastructure organizations, identifying and developing high-value opportunities.
• Drive revenue across IP licensing, customer expansion and attached engineering services , while growing the installed customer base.
• Build and manage a qualified global pipeline and consistently deliver assigned revenue targets.
• Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers across trading technology, infrastructure, engineering, quantitative and market-data organizations.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, from prospecting through contract signatures, partnering with product, engineering and delivery teams to scope solutions and structure productized or bespoke offerings.
• Build a scalable IP sales motion that protects the value of the IP while creating opportunities for implementation and development services.
• Provide market and customer insights to senior leadership to inform account strategy, product positioning and global growth priorities.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of enterprise technology sales experience within financial services or FinTech, with a proven track record selling complex solutions to banks, exchanges, proprietary trading firms, market makers, hedge funds or financial technology providers.
• Demonstrated quota attainment and success managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles with trading and banking technology buyers.
• Strong understanding of financial-market technology , including market structure, execution, connectivity and latency as a competitive differentiator.
• Credibility with senior trading and technology stakeholders , including leaders in trading technology, infrastructure, engineering, quantitative and market-data organizations.
• Experience selling IP, software or license-based technology , ideally combined with professional or engineering services and a license-plus-services commercial model.
• Strong prospecting, strategic account development, negotiation and executive relationship-building skills , with the ability to develop new opportunities as well as expand existing accounts.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and sales intelligence platforms such as ZoomInfo , using account intelligence, contact data and prospecting tools to identify target accounts, engage key decision-makers, build pipelines and support strategic account development.
• FPGA, hardware acceleration, low-latency networking or electronic-trading infrastructure experience is a strong plus.
• US-based , comfortable working fully remotely in a global territory with approximately 10% international travel .
