Dental Hygienist

This role is well-suited for a hygienist who takes pride in providing attentive, thorough patient care while working alongside a supportive, close-knit group of dental professionals. You will play a key role in helping patients maintain good oral health through preventive care, education, and collaboration with the broader dental team. What You'll Be Doing Performing dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains Reviewing patient dental and medical histories to identify any relevant health concerns Taking and processing dental X-rays and other diagnostic images as needed Conducting oral health assessments and screening for signs of gum disease, decay, or other conditions Applying preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and personalized home care routines Documenting patient care and treatment notes accurately in dental software Communicating findings and observations to the dentist to support diagnosis and treatment planning Maintaining sterilization and infection control standards in accordance with regulations Collaborating with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to keep patient visits running smoothly Staying up to date on best practices, materials, and techniques in dental hygiene What We're Looking For Associate degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program Active, valid dental hygiene license in good standing as required by the state of practice Solid clinical skills in cleanings, scaling, and preventive care procedures Strong communication skills with patients and coworkers Attention to detail and a genuine commitment to patient comfort and care Good organizational and time-management habits Comfort using dental practice software and digital imaging systems A professional approach to patient confidentiality and safety CPR certification, as required What You'll Get A supportive, collaborative dental practice to grow in The opportunity to work alongside experienced dental professionals A varied patient caseload that keeps daily work engaging Room for professional growth and continued learning A welcoming, team-oriented environment #J-18808-Ljbffr i4 Dental Lab
