description : RN, Nurse LeadProvides unit-based leadership working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Ensures that all patients on the unit receive cost effective, professional care that results in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining the highest level of patient safety. Assesses and takes steps to improve quality of patient experience.This department only includes education and non-productive hours of Float Pool nurses. Float Pool nurses working a unit should always clock in to the unit being worked. requirement : Night Shift - 36s. Emergency Department Nurse Lead needed. Location is Montebello Hospital: 309 W Beverly Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640Education and Work Experience:Bachelor?s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: RequiredMaster's Degree: PreferredFive years' technical experience: PreferredSupervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: RequiredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: PreferredClinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification: PreferredFacility Specific License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredHospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
