Come grow with us and be part of the excitement!Pay: $25.00 - 50.00 per hour depending on experienceJob DescriptionThis is a Full-Time positionWork Location: In-person / On-siteWe are looking for Technicians Lube, to Mainline, Journey and up to Master Technicians. Technicians with independent shop domestic experience are welcome to apply!Seeking a technician capable of diagnosing and repairing any system of the automobile to dealership and manufacturer's standards with little to no supervision. Diagnose and repair to specifications -- brake, exhaust, basic electrical, cooling system, suspension and alignment, perform all maintenance services.ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.Perform maintenance services such as brakes, fluids, filters, etc.Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.Maintain an organized and neat shop.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred, but not requiredHigh school diploma or equivalentASE Certification preferredDexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsValid driver's license and clean driving record*We provide ongoing manufacturer sponsored and dealer paid training.**Must pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screening.BenefitsComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance available after 60 days of employment, featuring a generous employer subsidy to reduce employee premium costs.401(k) Retirement Plan with an attractive employer matching contribution after one year of service.Paid Time Off (PTO)Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options, dependent on the selected medical plan.Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for confidential support services.Additional voluntary benefits, including Life Insurance, Pet Insurance, Identity Theft Protection, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, etc.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time in an automotive repair environment.Must be able to use hands and arms to operate various tools and diagnostic equipment, often requiring repetitive motions and strong grip strength.Ability to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.Capable of safely working with and around loud noises, moving mechanical parts, and chemicals.Good vision, including close-up, distance, and color vision, to inspect parts and diagnose issues.Must have the physical capability to perform a full-time, in-person schedule in a demanding shop environment, which may include prolonged periods of physical exertion.Ready to Drive Your Career Forward?
