Oversee course conditions, set‑up and maintenance daily in cooperation with the Greens Superintendent; report results to RJG. Oversee pro shop sales daily; report results to RJG. Oversee membership sales daily, setting and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals; report results to RJG. Analyze and evaluate membership finances in relation to club private‑club status. Oversee the pub daily with pub employees; report results daily to RJG. Oversee banquet sales and operations daily with the banquet director; set and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals; report results to RJG. Monitor and suggest plans for converting to completely private or semi‑private club. Implement new ideas and projects to encourage maximum participation in all club activities. Ensure education and teaching programmes are conducted for all employees. Responsible for overall scheduling of all departments to avoid conflicts. Direct, manage, and administer staff and managers to maximize customer satisfaction and esprit‑de‑cor. Conduct weekly managers and BEO meetings. Ensure managers conduct regular meetings with their staff. Conduct annual employee evaluations, using performance rating sheets and setting objectives. Responsible for hiring, scheduling, disciplining, or terminating employees per RJG policies; establish wage rates. Ensure golf teaching and education programmes are available to members and guests to maximize use of the driving range. Ensure optimum use of the Tee Sheet daily. Create increased public interest in golf for members of all age groups. Participate in any reorganization, development, or change in golf course structure. Responsible for membership development and maintenance of membership records and files. Ensure that ordering, pricing and displaying of quality pro shop merchandise is done timely and cost‑effective, in partnership with the director of golf. Ensure members and guests adhere to club policies and regulations. Maintain constant cleanliness and organization of the club (kitchen, offices, public areas, cart barn, maintenance building, outdoor and dumpster areas). Maintain food, liquor, and beverage costs. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, pub and banquet facility to provide sanitary conditions for guests and employees. Maintain ordering policies for food & beverage to ensure menu items are available at all times. Devise and control purchasing policies and procedures; establish inventory levels and prepare related reports. Present to RJM an annual operating and capital budget (preliminary due by October 1) and manage operations within the approved budget. Recommend policies to strengthen the financial position of the club. Maintain cooperation with community officials and develop strong community awareness. Stay current on developments in golf and F&B; position the facility as a leader in positive innovation. Qualifications Upbeat personality, strong public speaking skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities; maintain professional language and demeanor. Qualified executive experience with demonstrated leadership. College degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience and proficiency.
