Medical Director - Addiction Medicine (Telehealth)

For our client, we are seeking a Medical Director - Addiction Medicine (Telehealth) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This leader will guide clinical strategy for a remote addiction medicine program, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and evidence-based care delivery. The role will partner closely with operations and clinical teams to refine protocols, support complex cases, and help shape new services. It is well suited for a physician leader who can translate clinical standards into scalable telehealth workflows and measurable outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $200,000 – $240,000 annually Responsibilities Serve as a senior clinical leader and subject matter expert in addiction medicine Strengthen clinical quality and patient safety across the care delivery model Lead the refinement of clinical protocols and evidence-based practice guidelines Support quality assurance and clinical audits for improvement opportunitiesProvide consultation on complex clinical cases and emerging issues Translate operational priorities into clinical workflows and care delivery standards Partner with leadership to develop new service lines and evaluate clinical readiness Qualifications Board Certification in Addiction Medicine with an active medical license 5+ years of clinical experience with substance use disorders Proven leadership experience with clinicians or healthcare teams Experience scaling clinical programs and initiatives Background developing clinical protocols and evidence-based standards Strong data utilization skills for performance improvement Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Mental Health Services including Talkspace and EAP 4 weeks of vacation, increasing to 5 weeks after 2 years Sick leave accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked 9 paid holidays per year 12 weeks of 100% paid parental leave after 6 months of employment 401(k) retirement savings with employer contribution Fully remote role with provided hardware for work duties Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
