About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN License Required Certifications: None required Must-Have: - Operating Room Experience - Circulating in Orthopedic, ENT, GYN, Sports Medicine, General, and Neurosurgery - Ability to circulate for Ortho/Total Joints, Urogyn, ENT, Podiatry, Colorectal Description: This position requires an RN with experience in the operating room. The candidate will be circulating in various surgical specialties. Typical procedures include total joints, arthroscopy, colorectal surgeries, and more. Experience in scrub roles and C-arm operation is preferred. Staffing ratio is 1:1 in the operating room. The unit consists of three operating rooms with a team of 20 staff members. Surgical equipment includes Stryker arthroscopy and video systems, various surgical tables, and navigation systems. Scrubs are provided for the staff. The position may require floating to other facilities to meet scheduled hours.
