About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid RN License Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Knowledge of Meditech charting system Strong vascular skills preferred Description: 2-6 days of call per month are required. Unit specific details include 5 operating rooms with a patient ratio of 1 RN to 1 patient. The unit is staffed with 5-6 RNs and 6 techs on any given day. There is 1 Anesthesia Tech and 1 OR Analyst available. Standard operating room equipment is utilized on the unit. Documentation is completed using the Meditech system. Floating policy is not applicable. Advanced skills for procedures performed in the unit include ortho, spine, vascular, general surgery, colorectal, robotic, GYN, and ENT. The hospital provides scrubs for the required uniform.
