Medical Support Assistant (MSA)

We are seeking professional and customer-focused Medical Support Assistants (MSAs). The MSA will provide administrative, scheduling, patient coordination, and front desk support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and manage patient appointments
• Provide front desk reception and exceptional customer service
• Assist with patient registration and electronic medical record updates
• Coordinate transportation, interpreter services, and patient support activities
• Maintain reports, records, and office documentation
• Support clinical staff with administrative and operational tasks
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of healthcare or administrative support experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling systems
• Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology preferred
• Prior NIH, hospital, or federal healthcare experience is a plus
