Associate Property Manager

Beacon Hill was founded to set a new standard in search, career placement and flexible staffing. Our client, a leading commercial real estate and property management firm, is seeking a Property Associate for a 3+ month contract opportunity with potential for permanent hire. This position is onsite between two Boston locations, offering $26-$28/hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. The Property Associate will provide administrative, accounting, and tenant support while helping ensure smooth daily operations across the property portfolio. Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices and assist with accounts receivable activities Support lease administration, document management, and filing systems Monitor phones, emails, and work order requests, ensuring timely responses Coordinate mail distribution, correspondence, reports, and office organization Manage conference room scheduling, meetings, events, and travel arrangements Assist with tenant onboarding, move-ins/move-outs, and building access requests Track certificates of insurance, vendor documentation, and compliance records Support budgeting, reporting, vendor setup, and contract administration Maintain contact databases and accurate property records Provide general administrative support to the property management team Qualifications High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred 1+ year of experience in commercial real estate, property management, office administration, or a related environment Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new systems quickly Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team Experience with Yardi is highly preferred Strong professional writing skills for memos and tenant correspondence Must be comfortable working between two nearby Boston office locations Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
