Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Development Specialist role based in Louisville, KY. The Sales Development Specialist is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads through outbound calls, emails, and digital outreach, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. Day-to-day tasks include conducting initial discovery conversations, updating and managing customer information in CRM systems, and coordinating closely with the sales team to schedule meetings and hand off qualified opportunities. The role also involves providing prompt and professional customer service, following up on inquiries, supporting sales campaigns, and gathering market insights to help refine sales strategies. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Lead Generation and Sales skills to identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities. Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, build relationships, and respond to inquiries professionally. Candidates should possess Sales Management-related skills, including pipeline tracking, CRM usage, and coordination with account managers. Relevant experience in industrial or B2B sales environments, preferably with technical products or services, is beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Louisville, KY, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office or similar tools, and comfort with phone and email outreach is advantageous.
