Journeyman Plumber

About the Job Immediately seeking a Journeyman Plumber to join our team. Position is located in San Antonio and surrounding areas (Charlotte, TX, etc.) The Lead Plumber will run commercial projects and lead a crew of Apprentice Plumbers. Job Details:
- Pay is $27/hr. or scale jobs up to $48/hr.
- Shift is 7am-4pm.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing drawings.
- Coordinate daily work activities with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
- Install commercial plumbing systems, including water, waste, vent, gas, and storm drainage systems.
- Lay out plumbing systems and verify measurements before installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Schedule and assign tasks to crew members to maintain project timelines.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation or system issues in the field.
- Install piping systems (PVC, CPVC, copper, cast iron, steel, PEX).
- Supervise and work with a 3-4-man crew of Apprentice plumbers.
- Will work as a Journeyman on tools to assist with installs.
- Valid Journeyman Plumbing License required.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints to meet deadlines and layout crew.
- Will be required to work alongside crew of Apprentice Plumbers.
- Must have tools and PPE.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
