Global Facilities Excellence Associate Director

Becton Dickinson seeks an Associate Director to lead global facilities excellence initiatives across multiple manufacturing, R&D, and office locations. The role establishes enterprise standards, governance, and continuous improvement programs while ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective infrastructure operations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Deploy BD Excellence framework across global facilities operations and establish enterprise standards
• Direct facility and continuous improvement activities including Kaizen events and process optimization
• Ensure regulatory compliance and support inspections across federal, state, and local requirements
• Lead capital project oversight and coordinate technical solutions for site-wide infrastructure challenges
• Track and report KPI performance across all facilities operations and drive cost savings initiatives

Requirements

• Facilities management expertise including HVAC, building automation, energy management, and utilities
• Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) or equivalent continuous improvement experience
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, PLCs, and automation controls
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on complex facility and capital projects
• Regulatory compliance knowledge (FDA, EPA, OSHA) in manufacturing or life sciences environment
