Radiology - CT Tech

Cat Scan TechnologistThis is a 13-week contract position.07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Friday, Saturday & SundayThe Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation and assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures.Responsibilities:Perform complex CT procedures with professional judgment.Review and obtain patient clinical history, documenting into PACS.Prepare and review accuracy of the contrast questionnaire.Identify and administer contrast media as prescribed.Verify appropriateness of exam prescriptions and communicate with medical professionals.Obtain outside studies, ensuring their availability in PACS for radiologist comparison.Provide exam copies to patients and their physicians.Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic value.Prepare patients for scanning, ensuring they are adequately informed.Perform venipuncture and monitor patient conditions during procedures.Adhere to attendance policy and complete scheduled shifts.Identify and cater to patient needs, ensuring effective communication.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT required; 2 years preferred.Post processing, PACS (Fuji) knowledge required.Knowledge of EPIC EMR preferred.ARRT-CT certification is required.BLS certification required.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
