Cat Scan TechnologistScheduleSun-Thursday 4pm-12:30am (Scheduled days off: Friday & Saturday)Job DescriptionThe Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation and assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures.ResponsibilitiesPerforms complex CT procedures.Uses professional judgment to obtain and document patient clinical history.Prepares and reviews contrast questionnaires with patients.Identifies and administers contrast media as prescribed.Reviews prescriptions for appropriateness and communicates with relevant physicians.Verifies insurance authorization and processes modifications.Obtains and schedules outside studies for radiologist comparison.Evaluates radiographs for accuracy and diagnostic value.Prepares patients for scanning and determines appropriate contrast dosages.Provides clear explanations and addresses patient concerns.Performs venipuncture and monitors patients during procedures.Adheres to departmental policies including attendance and behavior standards.Lift a minimum of 25 lbs and maintain standing for a minimum of 6 hours.Modifies care based on patient population specifics including age and culture.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust possess ARRT certification in Radiology and relevant experience in CT imaging.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
