Collections Manager II

The Collections Manager is responsible for the daily supervision of the Collections Units. Responsibilities Daily operations supervision and oversight: manage daily operations in Collections, including work queues, phone assignments, and employee development. Manage schedules and assignments for effective delinquency and charge‑off management. Monitor past‑due loans to prevent charge‑offs and handle consumer loan products, legal actions, and bankruptcy within policy guidelines to optimize recovery. Review and resolve escalated calls and account research requests, addressing member issues timely and professionally. Assist in training and development of employees and/or management staff; complete quality reviews and agent development; assess employee performance and administer disciplinary action. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and manage risks within assigned responsibilities. Evaluate third‑party agencies and conduct annual risk assessments; provide relevant support for their operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Work a mixed schedule Monday–Friday with variable hours and occasional Saturday shifts; onsite two days a week with Thursday set day in office. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
