Patriot Program Quality Lead

Position: Patriot Program Quality Lead (PQL) – Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) for the European Command (EUCOM). Location: Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Role Type: Onsite. Responsibilities Promote and execute quality practices, knowledge sharing, and customer partnership across the EUCOM program area. Lead quality‑related initiatives as a member of the Program Leadership Team (PLT), collaborating with Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Operations and the Quality team. Ensure implementation of Quality and Mission Assurance (QMA) requirements, interface with U.S. Government & foreign customers and suppliers. Coordinate proactive engagement with factories and suppliers to reduce product lifecycle cost and risk. Review program contract requirements, drive continuous improvement activities and measure financial performance. Perform root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities and lead system‑wide corrective actions. Generate Cost of Quality (CoQ) projects, implement APQP where applicable, and develop strategic mission assurance plans. Qualifications – Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight years of engineering experience. Experience working within a Quality division of a commercial, defense or aerospace company. Experience with performance‑to‑cost, schedule and technical performance using cost accounting methodologies (Earned Value). Experience providing technical program oversight for manufacturing and/or design processes. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications ISO9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System experience. Six Sigma, Lean, CORE or American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification. Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification. Experience with Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) or similar gate‑management process and Risk & Opportunity management. Demonstrated ability to build relationships in cross‑functional teams and with external partners. Benefits Competitive salary ($107,500 – $204,500).
