Whether you're new to ABA or have experience in the field, Sunrise provides the training, clinical support, and opportunities for growth to help you build a rewarding career.All are welcome to apply!As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll help children develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills while collecting data, implementing individualized treatment plans, and celebrating their progress.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized ABA treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a BCBA.Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in client homes and school settings throughout Knoxville and surrounding communities.Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies to encourage skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.Collect accurate data during each session and document client progress.Communicate observations, progress, and changes in client behavior to the supervising BCBA.Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, teachers, and other members of the treatment team to promote consistency across home and school environments.Support the development of communication, social, play, self-help, and adaptive living skills.Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.Receive regular supervision, coaching, and feedback from your BCBA.Build positive and professional relationships with clients, families, and school staff.Provide caregiver support and training as directed by the clinical team.Maintain accurate documentation and follow all clinical and company policies.Approach each session with patience, compassion, professionalism, and a focus on the individual needs of each client.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Behavioral Science, or a related field preferred.Previous experience working with children is preferred.Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required.Previous ABA experience is a plus.RBT certification is preferred but not required.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.Ability to travel between client homes and school locations as needed.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of a clinical team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children learn and grow.Dependability and a commitment to providing consistent, high-quality care.Willingness to learn and grow within the field of ABA.Why Join Sunrise ABA?Paid training – We provide the training and support needed to begin your career in ABA.Ongoing clinical support – Receive regular guidance, mentorship, and feedback from experienced BCBAs.Career advancement opportunities – Grow your career toward Mid-Level Supervisor, BCBA, and other leadership opportunities.Competitive compensation with opportunities for merit increases.Health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible full-time employees.Professional development and continuing education to help you continue building your skills.Supportive team culture – We value collaboration, communication, and celebrating both client and employee success.Work EnvironmentBehavior Technicians provide services in client homes and school settings throughout Knoxville and surrounding areas.
