Part Time Caregivers in Eastern Kansas CitySenior Helpers - Lee's Summit is seeking compassionate and qualified part-time caregivers to join our team in Odessa, MO. Our mission is to help seniors remain independent and safe in their homes, enhancing their quality of life and providing peace of mind. We value commitment, professionalism, and a passion for enriching the lives of our clients.ResponsibilitiesProvide companionship and conversation.Assist with ADL's, and IADL's including bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.Assist with ambulation using wheelchairs, walkers, gate belts, or lifts.Prepare meals and snacks; provide medication reminders.Run errands such as doctor appointments, beauty salon visits, and grocery shopping.Perform light housekeeping including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, gathering trash, changing bed linens, and light laundry.Assist with household management and meal planning.Provide transportation using client’s or personal vehicle.Monitor clients with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.In sleep-over or live-in situations: assist client to and from bed and provide overnight support.Requirements18 years of age or older with a phone.Pass FCSR background checkValid driver's license and reliable transportation with valid insurance.High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.Experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training available.Current CPR certificate recommended but not required.Ability to read, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.BenefitsCompetitive compensation of $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.Flexible shifts to accommodate your schedule.On-the-job training to develop your skills.Telehealth support.Paid Time Off (PTO) benefits.About the CompanySenior Helpers - Lee's Summit is dedicated to providing compassionate, professional care to seniors in the Odessa, MO area.
