Director, Navigation Integration - American Cancer Society

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

In collaboration with the VP, Navigation and other key stakeholders, serves as a subject matter expert to lead the design and execution of program activities, manages workflows, develops program resources, oversees daily operations and spending, and provides regular reports and updates to stakeholders. (35%) Oversees data collection, develops data reports, leads program evaluation, identifies areas for program and process improvement, and supports ongoing dissemination of work through internal and external channels. (25%) Builds and manages relationships with key partners, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders to maximize program utilization, facilitating cross-department communication and collaboration. (20%) Provides guidance, coordination, and oversight to ensure the team functions effectively and remains aligned with program goals. (20%)

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree with 8 years relevant experience acceptable Preferred Degree: Master's Degree Certificate(s) or License(s): N/A Minimum 5 years of experience managing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating public health or patient care programs. Minimum 3-5 years of people leader or supervisory experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

Knowledge of the principles and practices of patient navigation. Knowledge of cancer, cancer control, and cancer care delivery. Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design. Knowledge of the operations and management of health systems. Knowledge of program management and grants management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills. Ability to set and meet deadlines and maintain schedules for deliverables related to multiple projects. Ability to interact, collaborate, and effectively communicate across multiple projects and stakeholders to achieve departmental goals and priorities, operational efficiencies, and organizational impact.
