Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, inclusive of physical assessments and detailed medical history reviews
• Aid in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through detailed analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Offer critical intraoperative assistance, from preparing the operating room to ensuring optimal patient positioning and efficiently passing surgical tools
• Provide exceptional care during pre-operative and post-operative phases, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Surgical rotation experience preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
