Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides direct clinical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care for assigned patients. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing care in accordance with established standards. Supervise clinical staff to ensure appropriate care delegation and competency. Administer medications safely and timely, following hospital policies. Support hospital emergency procedures, knowing emergency codes and responding appropriately. Support the Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining high standards of care, staff competency, and resource management. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; recent acute care experience preferred. Current licensure and certifications, including AHA BLS; ACLS, PALS, or NRP as applicable. Additional Duties Performs all hospital incident command system roles during emergencies, ensuring safety and compliance at all times. #J-18808-Ljbffr
