Emulation Operations Engineer

Design, implement, maintain and automate the IT infrastructure for the emulation lab, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and workstations.Explore and implement novel emulation workflows and methodologies including data transfer, schedulers and automated end-to-end regression flows.Participate in on-call rotation and monitor production distributed computing infrastructure, troubleshooting advanced technical issues within a Linux environment.Manage relationships with vendors for hardware, software, and support contracts.Automate systems management with code.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.3 years of experience with emulation CAD operations.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.6 years of experience with emulation CAD operations.Experience in IT infrastructure management and Cloud systems design (including VMs), preferably in an emulation lab or high-performance computing environment.Experience writing code (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate monitoring and data analysis.Proficiency with batch job schedulers such as Slurm, LSF, or PBS.Basic knowledge of Emulation/FPGA compilation and runtime flows.Be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products.
