The marine industry is going electric and Arc is building the platform that powers itWho We're Looking ForAs Arc's Proposal Specialist, you will own the proposals that win Arc's commercial business from first draft through final submission. That means writing and coordinating commercial volumes, keeping pursuits organized and on schedule, and maintaining the content library our commercial bids draw from.We're looking for someone fired up by the mission and ready to build. You'll thrive here if you move fast, take ownership, and care about the details.This is a full-time, on-site role at our Los Angeles headquarters.What You'll DoDrafting and editing proposal narrative, including executive summaries, capability statements, and case studies for commercial pursuitsTranslating input from Engineering, Product, and Sales subject matter experts into clear, customer-focused writing, responsive to solicitation requirementsBuilding and maintaining proposal schedules, calendars, and checklists for each commercial pursuitTracking submission requirements and confirming on-time, compliant deliverySupporting kickoff meetings and following up to keep contributions on scheduleMinimum Qualifications2+ years of experience in proposal writing, proposal coordination, or a similar roleDemonstrated ability to write clearly about technical subject matter for a non-technical audienceStrong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple deadlines simultaneouslyStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google WorkspaceComfortable interviewing subject matter experts to extract content that doesn't yet exist on paperBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceBonus QualificationsBackground in the marine, maritime, or clean energy industriesExperience in desktop publishing or design toolsFamiliarity with commercial procurement or bid processComfortable pushing at a fast but sustainable paceEnthusiasm for boating and the waterAt Arc, we encourage diversity and consider all qualified applicants equally for employment, regardless of background, identity, or status.
