OSP Project Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
Seeking a full-time OSP Project Engineer, the successful candidate will plan and prepare construction drawings for fiber optic installations, ensuring optimal routing and compliance while working remotely. Key responsibilities Prepare detailed construction and installation drawings for fiber optic projects, including design and splicing sequences Manage and track OSP work schedules, develop cost studies, and report on project progress and budget forecasting Liaise with city officials and customers to manage permitting processes and land acquisitions for easements Required qualifications 5+ years of technical experience in OSP Engineering, Construction, or Operations High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred Strong knowledge of OSHA rules, NESC requirements, and telecommunications regulations Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CAD and fiber mapping platforms Demonstrated project management experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
