Marcus & Millichap's Seattle office is seeking a full-time, in-office Financial Analyst to support a top-performing multifamily investment sales team. The ideal candidate has strong financial analysis and valuation experience, advanced Excel/modeling skills, and excellent business writing abilities, along with a Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2–3 years of relevant experience. This role supports the full investment sales process, including underwriting, valuation, market research, comparable analysis, and preparing client-facing financial materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment. The base hourly range for this role is $33.65 – $38.46 per hour. This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus. Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and job-related skills relevant to the role. Responsibilities

• Prepare financial models for commercial real estate valuation
• Underwrite multifamily properties and analyze investment performance
• Prepare marketing proposals and meeting presentation materials
• Conduct market research to support underwriting and property evaluations
• Track market trends, including rental growth, development activity, and sales comparables
• Respond to client requests for property information in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience in financial analysis and real estate underwriting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple assignments
• Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
