Financial Analyst

Holman is a family‑owned, global automotive services organization. What will you be doing? Our financial analyst will be responsible for a range of forecasting, analysis, and budgeting duties. Forecasting Develop and maintain the company’s long‑term financial plan, integrating key business drivers and strategic initiatives. Coordinate and prepare the annual budget in close collaboration with various departments. Create and update financial forecasts, providing variance analysis against budget and prior forecasts. Compile and prepare deliverables for senior management, including detailed analysis and executive summaries. Assist in creating presentations for executive review and other strategic forums. Perform analytical tasks and special projects, providing insights and recommendations. Conduct detailed financial and operational analyses to support business decisions and strategy development. Assist in developing and implementing analytical tools and models. Define, develop, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance. Generate reports on KPIs, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Verify accuracy of financial data and reports. Act as a financial resource and support other business units, addressing queries and guidance. Pricing Analysis and Sales Team Advisement Regularly assess product profitability, update underlying assumptions, and provide insights to optimize product performance. Collaborate with sales leadership to understand business needs and requirements related to internal pricing tools. Provide support in developing, updating, and enhancing pricing tools. Communicate effectively with sales leadership to ensure alignment of financial analysis and sales strategies. Utilize Power BI to create comprehensive reports for management. Interpret data and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders. Analyze client profitability and prepare detailed reports for management. Identify opportunities for improving profitability and provide recommendations. Engage in ad‑hoc analytical tasks and special projects as assigned. What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience. 2–4 years of relevant experience. Experience with financial software such as Power BI, Excel, and other data analysis tools. Experience with ERP and financial modeling software. Proficiency in MS Office Programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint, etc.). Breadth and depth of expertise in a technical or functional area, with knowledge of work processes and tools. Ability to collect and analyze raw data, identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and provide actionable insights. Experience reviewing and improving analytics processes, methods, and tools for efficiency, accuracy, and security.
