Mental Health TechnicianCommunity Residential Rehabilitation Program (CRR)Locations: State College, PA and Bellefonte, PAPart-time opportunitiesSupport individuals with mental health challenges in a group home settingTop 100 Organizations three years in a row, 2021-2023 as recognized by PA Business CentralWe are celebrating 50+ years of caring for individuals in the Centre region!Strawberry Fields, Inc. is a Human Service agency providing residential and community services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health challenges.Job Summary:Support individuals with a primary mental health diagnosisActively and creatively provide emotional support while assisting with daily living skills (e.g. money management, medication monitoring, socialization, household management, and vocational development)Starting pay rate for part-time is $16.00 per hourOrganization Expectations:Focus will be on developing opportunities for: treatment as needed, supports, family and friends, peer support, meaningful work, income, community mobility, community groups and organizations, protection and advocacy, psychiatric rehabilitation, leisure and recreation, education, housing and health careMust be flexible regarding work scheduleAbility to work as a team member and actively participate in all daily routines is essentialJob Responsibilities:Provide supervisory and hands on assistance with all aspects of activities of daily living to individuals in a group home setting.The position is in a 24 hour residential program.Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual and program needs.Rotating schedule includes evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.Physical demand: Ability to exert moderate physical activity (i.e., transferring, bending, twisting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, repetitive lifting, and pushing in miscellaneous activities with individuals and in overall maintenance to the house).
