Homecare WCC Specialist The Homecare Wound Care Center (WCC) Specialist collects and analyzes all documentation needed for billing, acts as a liaison between customers, Solventum, and third‑party payers, and builds robust relationships with wound care professionals to ensure regulatory and payer compliance. Responsibilities Demonstrate full knowledge of the Solventum document‑collection process, including the four major departments within the Advantage Center: Order Management, WDT (Wound Documentation), PDT (Prescriber Documentation), and POD (Proof of Delivery). Use independent problem‑solving skills to develop streamlined processes that limit contact with wound care clinics while staying within Solventum process and procedure rules. Review and analyze payer‑specific requirements and coverage criteria to determine required documentation and accurate billing criteria. Conduct in‑depth reviews of clinical documentation (medical records, prescriptions, operative reports, history and physicals) based on billing criteria. Work with wound care clinics or field personnel to obtain missing documentation required for placement and/or billing. Provide a high level of customer service in a competitive market. Participate in any and all reasonable work activities as deemed suitable and assigned by management. Conform to, support, and enforce all company policies and procedures. Provide backup assistance to team members when needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution and two (2) years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting medical records in a private, public, government, or military environment. Demonstrated customer service experience in a healthcare, insurance, patient support, or related environment. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and email communication). Ability to work effectively independently and within a collaborative team environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and perform successfully in a fast‑paced environment. Experience executing extensive computer‑based work, including repetitive keyboarding and frequent telephone communication. Additional Qualifications (Optional) Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience working in a post‑acute care setting (e.g., Home Health Agencies, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Wound Care Centers). Experience reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting medical records to support reimbursement, billing, or clinical documentation processes. Experience working with healthcare payers, insurance authorizations, claims processing, or revenue cycle management activities. Strong communication, organization, problem‑solving, and customer relationship management skills. Additional Requirements Entry into healthcare or third‑party facilities may require certain licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials (collectively “prerequisites to entry”). Solventum may share your information with the relevant providers to meet these prerequisites. Work Location and Travel Hybrid Eligible – job duties allow for some remote work but require travel to San Antonio at least once per month. Travel may include up to 0% of the role’s responsibilities. Compensation and Benefits The expected compensation range for this position is $45,360 - $62,370, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible. The range is a good‑faith estimate and may vary based on relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
