Overview
Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care in Willows, California. Start on September 14, 2026 for 17 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,528–$2,653 with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift is 5x8 days, 08:00–16:30. This is a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech language pathology evaluations and establish evidence-based treatment plans for adults in an acute care/SNF environment.
- Provide direct and group therapy targeting communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders; document progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning, safety, and continuity of care.
- Perform accurate documentation for patient records, billing, and regulatory compliance; monitor and report outcomes regularly.
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment goals, and care strategies to support functional communication and safe swallowing.

Requirements
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in California
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Relevant experience in acute care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Ability to work 35 hours per week in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary setting; willingness to travel for a travel assignment
