OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING!

Position: Drafting/Programmer
Location: NE Portland, OR
Pay: $28.00-$32.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM (OT as needed)

Who We Are:

What You'll Do:

• Create shop fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and Mastercam for CNC machinery.
• Translate architectural and interior design blueprints or renderings into accurate, buildable shop drawings.
• Write code and program CNC equipment to ensure efficient, precise production.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency in a high-production environment.

What You Need to Have:

The Musts:

• 2+ years of AutoCAD experience
• 2+ years of Mastercam programming experience for CNC machinery
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints and renderings for fabrication
• Familiarity with architectural woodworking and detailing
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• CNC programming experience with strong G-code knowledge

Preferred:

• Experience programming HOMAG N-500 machines using WoodWOP
• Experience programming Morbidelli M400F machines using Maestro
• Strong 3-axis CNC programming experience
• Cabinet-making or shop floor experience
• Experience with CNC machining, tooling, and production processes
