Vice President, Senior Full Stack Engineer

Salary: $148,000 - 200,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, and 7–8 years of financial services experience in an engineering or technology-focused role.
• Strong analytical, software design, and engineering fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns, with a focus on tested, maintainable code.
• Proficiency in Python or a modern object-oriented language such as Java or Scala, including experience developing backend services and APIs.
• Experience building large-scale, production-ready front-end applications with modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, or Angular.
• Experience deploying applications on Azure or AWS and using modern containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Experience promoting AI-assisted software development lifecycle practices to improve productivity, efficiency, and code quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with relational, SQL, and/or NoSQL databases.

• Develop and deploy algorithms to manage and rebalance separately managed accounts (SMAs) in line with portfolio objectives and investment strategies.
• Assess business processes and applications, learn new systems quickly, and use technology to automate work and improve operational efficiency.
• Design and implement data management capabilities using relational databases and APIs to support reliable, scalable investment workflows.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and engineering methods to advance innovation, modernize platforms, and support strategic business objectives.
• Lead process-improvement and trade-support initiatives across equity, multi-asset, and fixed-income SMA portfolios.
• Build high-quality, maintainable software for front-end and back-end platforms, following engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior colleagues and help foster a collaborative engineering culture centered on continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Apply sound judgment and critical thinking to complex problems, adapt to changing business needs, and examine new approaches and technologies rigorously.
