Schedule Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00). Half of scheduled shifts on weekends. Location Texas Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Unit. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population ranging from young adults to geriatrics. The ideal candidate should possess experience in charting through Epic and be familiar with a variety of patient care needs within a telemetry setting. Responsibilities Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 in a fast-paced environment. Administer medications and monitor patient vitals and conditions. Provide care for patients with a range of medical-surgical conditions and telemetry monitoring. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Perform charting and documentation in Epic accurately and timely. Utilize telemetry equipment and protocols to monitor patients effectively. Assist in patient education and supportive care to foster recovery. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry nursing role. Current RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license). Certifications: NIHSS, BLS required. Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory. Travel nursing experience is preferred.
