Sales Manager - Account Management | Carlsbad or Irvine, CA This is not a traditional "pound the phones and hunt for new logos" sales role. Our client is a rapidly growing advanced manufacturing company currently generating approximately $100M in revenue-with plans to grow toward $150M over the next 12 months. They are looking for a Sales Manager of Account Management to help lead that growth. This person will inherit and lead a talented team of Account Managers while helping expand relationships with strategic customers across Commercial Space, Aerospace & Defense, Medical, and high-end Industrial markets. The opportunity is really about three things:
• Lead and develop a high-performing Account Management team
• Grow existing strategic customer relationships and increase share of wallet
• Help build the commercial infrastructure needed for the company's next stage of growth You'll work closely with executive customers as well as internal Engineering, Program Management, and Operations teams to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure customers receive a best-in-class experience. We're looking for someone who has successfully led Account Managers or customer-facing sales teams and understands how to grow revenue through relationships, strategy, and execution-not simply activity volume. Experience within advanced manufacturing, aerospace & defense, additive manufacturing, or another technical manufacturing environment would be particularly valuable. ?
