Position Details

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 7:10 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms for patient care
• Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
• Ensure instruments and equipment are properly sterilized
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment plans, and post-treatment care
• Support efficient patient flow and daily office operations
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with teammates to provide an outstanding patient experience

Requirements

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Current radiology certification as required by Tennessee regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative attitude
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Dentrix or other dental software experience
• Dental assisting school certification
