CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare protocols.
Respond promptly to emergencies and provide critical care when necessary.
Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans and health management.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the CVICU specialty.
Active and unrestricted Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Shift Details

Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week.
Must be available to work at least every other holiday.

Additional Requirements

Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with acceptable scores on both assessments required.
