• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift - 3x12s only (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract CVICU Registered Nurse position at a major hospital main campus. The role requires candidates with recent and substantial experience in the cardiovascular intensive care unit specialty, and involves night shift rotation on a 3x12 schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Work 3x12 night shifts only (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Work at least every other holiday as required by the facility
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required

Required Skills

• ECG rhythm recognition competency (assessed during orientation)
• Proficiency sufficient to achieve an acceptable score on safeMedicate assessment during orientation

Education Requirements

• PERM Ohio RN License or Compact State license - must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA or facility-approved BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty being applied for (preferable within one location, but combined experience is accepted)
• Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience - travel experience will suffice

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Night shift rotation: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 3x12 schedule only - no other shift configurations available
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• COVID-19 vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions only)

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation - an acceptable score on both assessments is required for continued placement
