Registered Nurse - CVICU

$2203.20/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse for night shift coverage in a high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will provide expert nursing care to post-operative cardiac and vascular patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor critically ill CVICU patients, ensuring optimal cardiovascular stability.

• Administer medications, EKGs, and diagnostic tests following established protocols.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic health records.

• Respond swiftly to patient emergencies, providing life-saving interventions when required.

• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and compliance regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission.

• Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience, preferably in a hospital setting.

• Active and current certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

• Proven ability to recognize and interpret EKG rhythms accurately.

• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac care protocols and equipment.

• Successful completion of rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
